Matfen Hall shortlisted in the UK Wedding Awards 2020
Here at Matfen Hall, we’re hoping voters in the UK Wedding Awards will be saying ‘I Do’ when it comes to voting for us in the Best Stately Home Wedding Venue category in the UK Wedding Awards 2020.
We are absolutely delighted that we have been shortlisted in the national awards – and we’re now encouraging everyone to get behind a public vote, which will decide who will be announced as the winner.
Our Sales and Revenue Manager, Victoria Patton, said: “It’s a real honour to be selected as a finalist alongside venues from right across the UK.
“Matfen Hall’s unique setting is a home for unforgettable weddings. Not just another stately home, our venue offers a modern take on a traditional classic.
“Our team are dedicated to and passionate about the role in a couple’s special day. We take pride in arranging and helping them create a wedding day which is perfect for them and their guests.”
The ancestral home of Sir Hugh and Lady Blackett, Matfen Hall has become one of the North East’s leading wedding venues, with more than 2,000 couples having chosen to get married in our stunning Great Hall.
Whether couples want a fairytale wedding, have their heart set on glitz and glamour; or are looking for something deliciously decadent, they can find it here at Matfen Hall and our 300 acres of gorgeous Northumbrian countryside.
Victoria added: “We know from talking to our couples that Matfen Hall offers something special on the most special of days, and we’re hoping that everyone who has given us the honour of hosting their wedding will vote for us in the UK Wedding Awards 2020.”
Matfen Hall is shortlisted in the Best Stately Home Wedding Venue, alongside eight other finalists including Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire; Wrest Park in Bedfordshire; and Hampton Court in Surrey.
The public vote closes at midnight on January 31st and the winners will be announced at a ceremony to be held at The Biltmore Mayfair on February 13th, 2020. To vote for Matfen Hall, you need to register before casting your vote. Thank you!
